Finally, Conor McGregor Broke the Silence On Joining WWE. He mentioned the possibility of doing so to a representative from the YouTube Channel, ‘Adam’s Apple,’ randomly approached him and asked whether he was about to join the American professional wrestling promotion.

However, Conor neither firmly agreed nor denied it. Further, the representative asked whether WWE approached him, but he said he wasn’t. Some wrestlers, such as Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar, left WWE and went to UFC. So, Conor might not be the first person to change the side.

People watched the video and guessed that Conor would join WWE after retiring from UFC because the retirement age for UFC is between 35 and 40, while that for WWE is 50. So, he will have ten more years to enjoy wrestling. Meanwhile, some fans think WWE requires him more than he does.

Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta brought UFC out of financial trouble by purchasing it for $2 million. Further, UFC became a $7 million firm under their reign. According to Dana, the wrestling and the boxing firms will grow together. He also said that UFC fighters will be spotted as the audience in WWE matches and vice versa and does not dream of more than that.

How Can The UFC And WWE Merger Help Conor?

WWE announced their merger with UFC on their website last year. This merger created a new sports entertainment company called TKO Group Holdings. It will organize more than 350 live events per year and reach 180 countries. WWE holds 49% of the company, while Endeavor holds 51%.

Conor already earns through endorsements. Moreover, the merger allows UFC stars to attend WWE matches and vice versa. Similarly, both organizations can advertise during each other’s programs. UFC fighters’ salaries will not be affected by the merger, but WWE fighters' salaries might be affected.

Recently, Michael Chandler challenged Conor to fight against him in the ring. Both are UFC fighters, but the take is that the former did it on Monday Night Raw, and it turned out to be the first major cross-over between WWE and UFC. WWE is heading toward WrestleMania 40, and a suspicious match card is already viral on the internet, which says that Conor will host the match.

However, the match card is fake, and Conor’s appearance in WrestleMania 40 is not confirmed. Last year, Conor posted his photo with the UFC and WWE belts on X (formerly Twitter), which offended Paul Heyman. According to him, only Roman Reign can hold the belt. Thus, he challenged The Notorious to enter the wrestling ring and fight against Reigns.


Endeavor President Dana White took Conor’s name when The Independent asked him about the best person to be a heel, the ‘bad guy’ or antagonist in WWE.

UFC and WWE fans will be thrilled to watch Conor fight in WWE. He can easily appear as an audience in WWE matches due to the formation of TKO Group Holdings. However, we must wait to see him enter the wrestling ring because it has not been confirmed yet.
